Refurbished by the well-known Conran+Partners, this distinctive 1930s Art Deco building, formerly a customs office was transformed into a selection of bars, restaurants and a deli/bakery on a prime waterfront location in Copenhagen.

The interior was inspired by traditional Danish tugboats, with warm timber cladding and feature leather-clad bar counter.

The most high-end of the restaurant offers, the design for Bacino is elegant and refined. The light and airy dining room, serving modern Italian food, contrasts with the other spaces having selected a very light, modern palette.

Custom House Bar and Grill is a restaurant for the all day, every day meal. It is a relaxed space, but with flare and style.

Ebisu, situated on the first floor, is an intimate Japanese Sushi restaurant that cleverly uses the small space to its advantage, creating a dark and dramatic ambiance.

The deli was instigated to give it a very foody feel, where restaurant customers could then buy the produce that they have sampled. It relates to the public realm by opening out onto the street and showing its produce and the smell of freshly baked bread.
